The brick on the western facade of Adler’s Hardware, 173 Wickendon St, has been painted with a decorative sign that feels like it may have been there forever. Honestly, though, we don’t remember this sign as having always been there. But as far back as we can see in Google Streetview, back to 2007, this sign has been in place.

The area of the sign is roughly 40 feet wide and 10 feet tall, spanning the entire upper façade of the gambrel-roofed building, unobstructed by windows or other protrusions.
